I hated when it was immunization time. I should have just waited and did them when they were a little bigger. I've never had babies react so badly to them...actually that's not true. I remember Shyann was awful too...but I can handle one grumpy baby! Both of them being extremely grumpy would put me over the edge!!
At 4 months old they were:
Ezra- 11 lb 7oz -not quite on the charts yet.
23 1/4 inches
Rigdon- 15 lb 4oz -He was staying in about the 30%
25 inches
This time was not only hard for me. Tyler had it rough too. Trying to balance his crazy work schedule and sleep and helping me any time he could. So I planned a day away for him :) We went to iPic theatre! It was pretty awesome. Reclining seats, pillow, blanket, and dinner during the movie! So fun! And we were the ONLY ones in the theatre! It was perfect!
We stopped at the candy store and bought ourselves some sweets and I let Tyler browse the guns at Cabella's. I tried to think of manly things to do :)
I surprised him with a dream car drive event. He was able to drive around a Ferrari or Lamborghini. Not necessarily his dream car, but he said it was pretty cool.
He kinda broke the rules and got in trouble for speeding :) It was a much needed day together after being stuck in bed then stuck in the hospital then stuck at home with preemies!!
*So I absolute the cuteness that Ezra is. He is seriously my favorite tiny face ever!! He is so different from all my other kids. I feel like I have raised Rigdon before. He looks so much like my other kids. But Ezra is his own unique self. I actually think he looks a lot like his Grandpa Smith, my Dad. And we also call him our Yoda baby! Something about those eyes and nose and smile and even the cheeks and bald head and especially the ears! :) Haha! But I am so in love with him!!
And maybe he looks a bit like Ezra Taft Benson?? Or maybe like Spencer W. Kimball??

*We had 3D ultrasound a couple times with the babies but they never could get Ezra's face :(
But Rigdon let us see his cuteness.
And I think it's crazy how much he looks just like it. It makes sense, but just weird how they can get a picture of his face inside my belly!!
Rigdon is a mix between Jarvis and Shyann.
He has Shyann's eyes but everything else looks like Jarvis.

I LOVE having the kids help! It was actually hard sending them back to school. Tyler isn't around much and it has been so hard by myself. What do you do when you are holding a crying baby and the other one starts crying?! It drives me insane! I'm so used to be able to snuggle my one baby all day when needed. Now I feel like I NEVER get to. It just feels like work. Finish one thing and on to the next. I wish I had more time to enjoy them each individually.

We were lucky to have some of my aunts and uncles come visit. This is my very special Aunt Charmaine. I love her to pieces. She is seriously the funniest 75 year old woman you will ever meet! She is so fun to sit and talk to. She has the most compassionate heart also. She lets you know how much she cares and adores and cherishes you.

*Branson had a school project that he did awesome on. This kid is a genius. He amazes me. He tries so hard and has such a sweet heart. His teacher says she loves him too much :) She says sometimes he is too nice. I can't remember if I ever posted how he got 100% on the math on the AIMES test. He is seriously amazing.

We had/have soooo much baby furniture around here!! It's pretty claustrophobic around here. We don't have much space with 8 people in our 1300 sq ft house :/ It was perfect for our 4 kids...then we found out we were having twins! We have the walls lined with 2 car seats, 2 swings, 2 walkers, 2 high chairs, a jumper and a mama roo & basinet. Oh and see that treadmill in the back ground...ya never gets used. I have tried off and on a couple times but it's craziness. I end up frustrated or in tears. I get them both fed and happy and I get on for 2 seconds and they're crying. Ug. I get frustrated being interrupted so I just quit. I tried taking them for walks in their stroller but they're only happy for about one lap around the block. So I quit. Hopefully someday I can exercise again...but until then...I'm going to try to get as much sleep as I can possibly squeeze in between them each waking me up all night!
