Healing Music

I have so much love for the wisdom of our living prophet
and apostles on the earth today who speak for our Heavenly Father.
Our spiritual journey is the process of a life time.
We don’t know everything in the beginning or along the way.
We don’t know everything.
But we know enough.

Enough to do what is right.

We received some good counsel that we should try to use our personal experiences to
help others.
I’ve been second guessing myself sharing so much of our personal experiences and feelings.
Especially because it feels one-sided.
I don't want to sound like I'm a victim.
But I can only share parts of my side of this experience.
I think we all feel like we have to keep a guard up.
I am insecure in the way I express the deepest feelings of my heart.
Maybe I just need to keep a personal journal.
Then I got a tender hug from someone also hurting.
And received a couple very personal and sweet messages saying thanks.
Thanking us for showing them that there is hope when all seems lost and hopeless.
This is all worth it if we could kindle even just one persons faith and hope and heart.
You are [so] not alone.
We will all encounter hardships and trials that appear to have lasting consequences.
Our time on earth is a time of testing and improving.
It’s not meant to be easy.
But our future can be better than our past.
He can heal you and our power to carry our burdens can be increased
more than enough.
Heavenly Father sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming.
We are safe in His loving arms.
I am eternally grateful for our Savior.
Jesus said, "Without me, ye can do nothing.”
He invites us to “Come unto Him and be transformed.”

Something we love to do when it gets hard is listen to beautiful uplifting music.
I love how fast it brings the spirit and reminds me of my testimony and what’s really important.
Here are a few of our favorites.
Come back and listen and watch when you have a few peaceful minutes to meditate.
We hope they speak to your heart they way they have to ours.

Every Breath
His hands are
Catching your tears
And even without any words
He hears
You feel so far
But He’s right where you are
And He knows

Chorus:
Every breath
Every pain
He knows your heart and
He knows your name
The Giver of life
Light in your soul
Oh come home
Come rest
Let him bless
Your every breath

Silence your voice and be still
And even without any words
You will feel
You think you’re far
Be He lives in your heart
And He knows

Chorus

There’s nowhere you can go
That He hasn’t been below

He Is The Way
I have felt his light
And I have felt his peace
Stronger than anything
If I could shout
To all the world
Bring his truth
To every man

I would wear away
My life to say

He is the way
He is the light
He is life
No other road
No other name
Has power to save
I testify
With every breath I breath
With all my faith
He is the way

How blessed is his power
How sweat it feels to me
How I love the one
Who leads
If I could sound his holy name
And kindle someone's faith

I would wear away
My life to say

He is the way
He is the light
He is life
No other road
No other name
Has power to save
I testify
With every breath I breath
With all my faith
He is the way

Light and Life
Joy and Peace
Living Hope
Hands of mercy
Power, Growth
Truth and Strength
Love and Progress
Goodness,Grace

He is the road
He is the power
He is the gate
He is the way

More Holiness Give Me
More holiness give me,
More strivings within,
More patience in suff’ring,
More sorrow for sin,
More faith in my Savior,
More sense of his care,
More joy in his service,
More purpose in prayer.

More gratitude give me,
More trust in the Lord,
More pride in his glory,
More hope in his word,
More tears for his sorrows,
More pain at his grief,
More meekness in trial,
More praise for relief.

More purity give me,
More strength to o’ercome,
More freedom from earth-stains,
More longing for home.
More fit for the kingdom,
More used would I be,
More blessed and holy—
More, Savior, like thee.

I Stand All Amazed
I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me,
Confused at the grace that so fully he proffers me.
I tremble to know that for me he was crucified,
That for me, a sinner, he suffered, he bled and died.

[Chorus]
Oh, it is wonderful that he should care for me
Enough to die for me!
Oh, it is wonderful, wonderful to me!

I marvel that he would descend from his throne divine
To rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine,
That he should extend his great love unto such as I,
Sufficient to own, to redeem, and to justify.

I think of his hands pierced and bleeding to pay the debt!
Such mercy, such love and devotion can I forget?
No, no, I will praise and adore at the mercy seat,
Until at the glorified throne I kneel at his feet.

And this one is a new favorite. It has a special place in my heart. I can’t listen to it without getting choked up. I love Taylor Swift, but I had never heard this song before. One of the most Christlike people I know suggested I listen to this. It has meant the world to me. I am so humbled. I can’t ever thank you enough.

*Innocent*

Guess you really did it this time
Left yourself in your war path
Lost your balance on a tight rope
Lost your mind trying to get it back

Wasn’t it easier in your lunchbox days
Always a bigger bed to crawl into
Wasn’t it beautiful when you believed in everything
And everybody believed in you

It’s alright, just wait and see
Your string of lights is still bright to me
Oh, who you are is not where you’ve been
You’re still an innocent
Still an innocent

Did some things you can’t speak of
But tonight you live it all again
You wouldn’t be shattered on the floor now
If only you had seen what you know now then
Wasn’t it easier in your firefly catching days
When everything out of reach someone bigger brought down to you

Wasn’t it beautiful running wild ’til you fell asleep
Before the monsters caught up to you
It’s alright, just wait and see
Your string of lights is still bright to me
Oh, who your are is not where you’ve been
You’re still an innocent

It’s okay, life is a tough crowd
Thirty two and still growing up now
Who you are is not what you did
You’re still an innocent
Time turns flames to embers
You’ll have new Septembers
Every one of us has messed up too

Minds change like the weather
I hope you remember
Today is never too late to… be brand new.

CHORUS
Lost your balance on a tight rope
It’s never too late to get it back
