Platoon, ATTEN-HUT!!I declare war!
We are losing this battle!!
Soldier #4 didn’t sleep so well last night…
{that explains why I woke up feeling like someone slipped me a few ounces of Satans elixir}
He had a painful cough all night. He gets to skip preschool with Mommy and have movie time upstairs.
*{man one down} *
As normal procedure, I then began the painfully chilly early morning by sending Soldiers #1 & #2 off to the school.
{if I can see my breath, it’s way too cold! I can't wait for some warm sun rays & vitamin D!!}
A couple hours later it was time to send Soldier #3 off to kindergarten. As she’s climbing in the car she has silent tears running down her cheeks and says so sweetly, “Mommy my throat hurts really bad. I want to stay with you.”
*{man two down}*
An hour later I got a phone call. I had to report to the school nurse because she says she has Soldier #2 in her office with a fever.
*{man three down} *
Good Luck Soldier #1!! Our mission is to get better! I hope those yucky germs don’t find you! It's a like a land mine out there!
So after lots of boogies & tissues, hand sanitizer & soap, tears & snuggling, Clorox wipes & Lysol, Tylenol & Ibuprofen, I thought this would be the perfect evening to follow some good advice my sweetheart gave me…
*sigh*
Good night! Sleep Tight! Don't let the bed bugs bite!
You are too cute! Love it but sorry they were all sick. Thanks though, now I know what to expect sometime this week LOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha! So true! Sorry! I tried to quarantine them as much as possible!! Hope we don't share it!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope the General in Command doesn't catch what the troops have. I hope all is better soon!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love that saying! I need to write it down so I won't forget but holy moly it is SO true!!
